Maintenance
After you finish cutting hair at the end on the day, please wipe the blades (inside and outside) and adjuster (or screw) area of shears with scissor chamois (or soft cloth) . Wiping shears with scissor chamois removes dirt and chemical solutions, thereby preventing rust. Please put some oil at adjuster area.
You may purchase the scissor chamois and oil at B. W. Boyd Shears office.
Handle with Care
Please do not drop your shears. If you drop your shear or strong force is added to your shear accidentally, your shear will be bent or lose balances. These will cause to change the sensitive adjustments of your shears.
Also, when you drop your shear accidentally, do not try to catch the shear.
Do not touch the blades of your shear
These blades are very sharp. You will cut or injure your hand (or finger) if you are not careful. Please be careful when you oil them.
Store your shears in the case
Storing your shears in the scissor case or cap will protect you from injuring yourself. Please store your shears at a safe location. So, small children will not play with them.
